First-time home buyers, what do I need to do to get qualified, do I need a perfect credit score, do I need 20% down, why do lenders need that information?
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
In order to determine the best loan program is to do a brief phone consultation or face-to-face with the customers to find out what they are looking for in terms of what can they easily afford monthly and find out where they are going to be long term.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
It’s too hard, they need 20% down, they need to stick with one lender once they apply because it will affect their credit scores if they shop around.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?

Currently a member of Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), Asian American Real Estate Association (AAREA), Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), Certified with National Association of Mortgage Underwriters (NAMU), Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts Degree at Renton Technical College in Renton, WA.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
The most satisfaction as a loan officer is giving customers options, making sure they understand why the option chosen is the best one for them, and continue to build the relationship long term.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Volunteer with Harris County Emergency Services District No. 48, Citizens Police Academy Alumni with Harris County Constable Precinct 5, cooking, baking, and planning family gatherings.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I have an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, I enjoy baking and cooking when time permits, also like to experiment with different recipes.
