I have been in the mortgage business for over five years. Previously, I was in banking where I realized my passion: Helping others achieve their dreams of home ownership.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Don't just buy the most expensive home you can afford. Make sure you know how much you are comfortable paying each month, and buy a home that has a payment that fits within that budget.
What can borrowers do to ensure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
To insure the least amount of headaches in the mortgage process, making sure to provide all documentation requested as quickly as possible will help to speed things along. Make sure not to open any new lines of credit during the mortgage process, as that can affect your eligibility for the loan.
Summary of where you grew up: family, affiliations, college, high school, etc.
I grew up in Park Ridge, IL and attended High School at Loyola Academy in Wilmette. I then attended college at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI where I majored in Economics.
