Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
Majority of my career has been in the loss mitigation and collections aspects of the mortgage.
By the time I connected with my past clients, they were concerned about losing their homes and what they can do to save them.
There are so many great resources and program out there to help people understand what they can do to prevent foreclosure.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
When it comes to assisting my clients with their mortgage needs, I rely on my servicing experiences that allows me the ability to have a realistic approach on a clients mortgage needs and affordability.
The key is living within your means.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
One of the largest misconceptions is that an ARM loan is scary.
So many people are fearful because of the housing market crash that when they hear ARM
they immediately run for the hills.
Another is that a Fixed Mortgage Loan payment never changes.
This is true in most cases but once you add on escrow, the mortgage amount can change due to the taxes and insurance.
The last is that the process of getting a loan is scary. Guess what? It is, but luckily enough I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Throughout my career, I spent a few years being a HUD counselor and the education a customer can get
about finances and all the do's and don't when being a homeowner is priceless.
Obtaining the tools that use will use for the next 15/30 years of having a mortgage is a must.
The more you know about what your investing in is so beneficial .
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
My talent is being hospitable and making sure my clients walk away satisfied.
I am passionate about providing excellent service and I sincerely enjoy seeing a client that walks away satisfied with the outcome.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
Six years ago, I left California and moved to Chicago to start a church with 30 other people.
Since, I moved out here to restart my life, I have successfully purchased a home and found a new career as a Loan Originator.
