I listen to understand their overall long and short term financial and investment goals along with their payment, equity, cash flow and tax objectives. With this information I can find the right mortgage solution. I then provide them with a pre-approval amount, so they can confidently look for that home of the dreams. Not only does this pre-approval letter offer assurance to my clients, it also provides comfort to the seller and may be the reason their offer is accepted.

Many people believe they should choose a home before applying for a mortgage. The first step in the process is getting pre-approved for a mortgage. Being pre-approved allows you to look for homes in your price range. And once you find a home, the pre-approval could make you and your offer stand out and enable the seller to accept your offer.
Another misconception is that you need a 20% down payment to buy a home. This is not the case. While making a down payment of 20% or more allows you to avoid private mortgage insurance (PMI), there are still many options for borrowers with smaller down payments.

I love to see my clients after the closing when they receive the keys to their new home. This is a very happy and exciting time for them as they begin a new chapter in their life.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy running and am a member of Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale. I have run the Fort Lauderdale half marathon a couple of times. I like giving back; I am a member of the SI Financial Group Foundation. The foundation assists those organizations working to help people meet basic human needs, with community development and housing.
