What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
The first thing I do is introduce myself and try and find a common interest. This helps break the ice and relaxes the client because we know how stressful the mortgage process can be. I proceed and ask them what they are looking to do ie refinance or purchase a new home etc.. i will say that the most important piece of the entire process is gaining their trust and that they fully understand and are comfortable with the process.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Meeting new people, gaining their trust and helping them with obtaining the dream of owning their own home.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy sailing, sail boat racing, golfing, skiing, gardening and being with family.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
A client once said a while ago that I have a unique way of calming people down during the mortgage process. That has led to what i think is the most important thing is "Trustworthiness".
