I get all type of borrowers from the first time buyers, those looking for down payment assistance options, or the established returning customers who I have helped before.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I do a detailed interview and present to them their options.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
-That it is hard
-Too much paper work
-That it takes too long
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
If I see that they are computer savvy, I tell them to use the internet to research and also explain to them the details on how they can be easily be approved.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
It gives me satisfaction once their loan is approved and see their happiness because they are ready to move into a place called "home".
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Tending to my garden and doing volunteer work in the community and local church I belong to are my favorite pasttimes.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I can binge in watching Netflix the whole weekend just doing that. I look tough from the outside but I am an emotional and very generous person.
