Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is a hardworking individual who has worked hard and are now ready to own. They understand the importance of owning, as they don't want to pay off their Landlord's mortgage any longer. They want to create wealth for themselves and future generations.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I educate my clients on the process with great detail along with their loan options. I focus alot on making certain that my clients receive affordable payments. I don't try to fit a square peg into a round hole. I talk with my clients through their goals and what they want out of a home and then I help them achieve that goal with the most affordable option for them.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1. it's stressful, set propert expectations and it may not be.
2. it takes a long time to close, be organized and it won't.
3. Rate is not the most important thing, payment is.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
I recommend that my future clients contact me for information on Financial Opportunity Centers. As a former Financial Coach, I educate my clients on the resources available to help them when their not ready and if they are at least credit ready or close to it, I provide them with an individual plan towards ownership.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
When my clients are happy after they close for months and years to come. I am a relationship builder and I love it when my clients keep in touch with me and let me know how they are doing in life and in their new home. I am not a paper pusher. I enjoy it when my clients have closed and they still have money in the bank and don't have to take out loans or borrower money to purchase furniture.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy improv shows, I love live musicals and plays like "WICKED", I love to sing, play games on family night and spend time helping myself to grow spiritually, emotionally and financially. I am all about self improvement and growth. I enjoy learning new things.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I am addicted to "Life Hacks"... Those are the coolest things and I can watch those little videos on "how to" for hours at a time.
