Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is someone looking to upgrade or down size their home due to family expansion, or children leaving home.
In addition, I work with individuals that would like to lower their interest rate, or into their home equity for home improvements or to consolidate debt.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I like to spend time talking with individuals to determine factors such as, how long they intend to stay in their home, or their income qualifications and potential promotions or raises with their employment,in order to get them a great rate and term given their particular circumstances.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Many people make false assumptions about what they qualify for when thinking about purchasing a home, or refinancing an existing home.
Many people who have never owned a home often do not believe that they can get a mortgage even though there are many options available.
Lastly, some people think that they need a larger down payment to purchase a home, even though they may qualify for FHA or VA financing.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Although I enjoy working with anyone purchasing a home or lowering their interest rate, I really enjoy seeing first time home buyers close on real estate.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
During my spare time I enjoy flying. I am working on my pilots license and intend to see as much of the country as I possibly can from an airplane.
