Most of my clients are First-Time Home-buyers. They usually ask what incentives we offer for First-Time buyers, and what the benefits are for each program.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I ask for their time-frame, amount that they're comfortable with in regards to their monthly payment, and down payment.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
You have to have 20% down payment. You have to have REALLY good credit to purchase a home. You cannot have a co-signer.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Use your loan officer! I'll help you plan your savings for the down payment, and help you choose the program that best suits your family's needs!
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I LOVE helping people move into their first home! Especially the ones who have put so much work into building their credit, saving, and working hard to make their dreams come true. To work along-side of them, coaching them, and cheering them on, and see them cross the finish line makes it all worth-while.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy dancing, horse-back riding, playing with my children on the beach, reading, traveling, and music.

I speak fluent American Sign Language. And movie quotes :)
