Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is one just starting out in the home buying process. They are normally a first time home buyer not familiar with what steps to take and looking to get Pre-Approved. They normally have questions regarding how much of a down payment they will need, what credit score is required and ultimately how much they can afford on the purchase of their new home. By the end of the conversation they are fully educated and ready to start their home search!
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
The most satisfying part of my job has to be the day of closing. I love getting my client hyped up about purchasing their dream home! Seeing the reaction on their face after signing their documents and getting the keys to their new home is priceless.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I love traveling the world with my beautiful wife and I like spending my time turning wrenches and restoring cars!
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
A unique thing about me would be I host a Mortgage Talk Show on Facebook every Monday night at 7PM called Mortgage Monday. I showcase a wealth of mortgage knowledge and break down the day to day mortgage process, while explaining different programs, answering live questions and setting the record straight about some mortgage myths. I also have a lot of guests on the show, i.e (Realtors, Financial Advisers, Homeowners Insurance Agents etc) where they explain their business and how it relates to the home buying process. I have coined the name Mortgage Boss and it has stuck!
