I get a lot of first time homebuyers.
What is my payment going to be? What will it cost me to purchase a new home out-of-pocket? What is the sales price that I’m qualified to purchase? How can I get a better rate?
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I ask them about their goals, such as how much money they want to put down, desired sales price, and their target payment range. Then I make recommendations based on their goals.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
—You can’t purchase a home without 20% down.
—The process has to be stressful.
—Once the process starts, they can still make large purchases or change jobs without impacting the loan.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
I advise them to call me so I can tailor recommendations to their individual needs.

I love to run, read and spend time with my family.
