Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is the normal, everyday family man or woman looking to purchase a new home, refinance into a lower interest rate or take cash out for a home. The most common question I receive is, “How difficult is this process going to be?” The reason this is such a common question is because most other loan officers don’t dedicate enough time initially to ask the important questions and gather all the necessary information to ensure there are no delays in the origination process. I have found that if you put the time in upfront to listen to the client and ask the right questions, there are rarely any underwriting surprises or delays in getting to the closing table.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I always ask my customer: What are their goals ? I then analyze their needs and wants. Finally, I provide my customer with information that meets their desire.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I feel achievement from knowing I helped someone achieve their goal.
