It starts with understanding their objectives. A initial call to discuss their plans followed by 15 minutes to complete a digital application that provides the details of their unique situation. With the initial bases covered we review the alternatives and determine the best fit for the customer.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Biggest misconception is that 20% down is required to purchase a house. A close second is that they don't qualify. Finally, that there is only one way to finance home improvements or that home improvements can not be included when purchasing a new home.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
