First and foremost we take a complete and thorough application. As simple as this sounds this is where 80% of the problems arise so we make sure that we get it right at the beginning. Once we have accurate information we then find out what the goal is with the purchase to determine and what the wants and needs are with transaction. Every clients wants and needs are different, so we want to make sure we offer programs that give them the best terms. Once we know what it is you are looking for we then present relevant loan products that suit your needs.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
There are many misconceptions when is comes to the home loan process but these are my top 3:
1. You do NOT have to have 20% down to purchase a home. If fact there are first time home buyer programs that offer up to 4% down payment assistance help with minimum down payment as low as 3.5%.
2. You do NOT have to have perfect credit to qualify for a loan, in fact we have loan programs that go as low as 580.
