What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
First apply online. Then I go over their information and ask a lot of questions to make sure I understand their expectations. Each Borrower is unique and it is puzzle and I have to put the pieces together.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Its to difficult to buy a home.
I can't buy a home with my credit.
I don't have enough money for a down payment.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
My mobile app is one of the best tools available. They can run payments and scenarios.
Are you active in any local associations or community groups, and at what level? What goals and/or success have you helped these groups achieve?
I have been involved in many activities throughout the years and recently went on a mission trip to rebuild a church in Wales. Habitat for Humanity.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
It sounds corny, but it is still very exciting to see someone get in their first home or their dream home. From a young couple to someone in their 50's that has never owned a home.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Golfing fanatic. Would play 7 days a week if I could.
