Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I wouldn't say i have a typical customer. Every borrower has its own equal importance. Most customers don't know how the Home buying process (or mortgage process) works, so most questions happen on my first phone call about this process.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Its important to take the appropriate time to comletely allow the customer to understand the mortgage process. This process can be complex and its crucial that the expectation be set with the borrower. my job is to make sure all questions are answered and to take as much time as needed to insure the customer understands exactly what is required. Its very important my VP's and I to make sure our customers have the best experience and share that experience with others.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Need to have perfect credit.
Need 20% down payment.

What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
When I'm not working, I enjoy being out on the golf course, or in a hockey rink. Or when I have extensive time off I enjoy traveling with my wife very much.

I'm ambidextrous. whether I'm playing racquetball, tennis, throwing a baseball, or even holding a fork, I can do it with both hands.
