Eirik Rorvig likes to meet new people and make new friends. It just so happens that his friends also use him for their mortgages. They trust him because he takes pride in being a great teacher and communicator. He likes to shrink down abstract mortgage concepts into stories and metaphors, so they become easily digestible and understandable for those who don't work in the mortgage business every day. He feels that if he can teach you well, and you can understand the concepts, then everyone involved can save on the only thing that you can spend but never earn back; time.
Eirik has lived in and around the Madison, WI area for nearly 30-years. Through all his travels and relocations, no matter where he ends up living/visiting/working, he always seems to find his way back. He currently resides in Madison with his wife and son and says that he has no desire to move anywhere else.
Eirik enjoys spending time with his family, stand-up comedy, talking about philosophy, reading anything written by Douglas Adams, and golfing (poorly). He also spends an inordinate amount of time trying unsuccessfully to correct people on the pronunciation of his name while lamenting the merits of having a common English name, like “Pete” or “Steven”. To date the lamenting has yielded no decision on any changes; although it seems unlikely at this point.
