Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
No such thing as a "Typical Customer". I deal with clients from every price range and every experience level. I guess the questions I get the most are about costs and process. I do more than half my business in NY and anyone that works or lives in NY knows that it is 100% different from other states. You really need to understand the intricacies of New York to be a benefit to your client. I get calls on a weekly basis from clients that started elsewhere and weren't told the specifics of the transaction they were entering into. To me that is just not acceptable and no way to treat any client whether they are buying their first home or their luxury vacation home.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Ask the right Questions and listen attentively.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I really enjoy attending the closings and speaking with the borrowers. It gives me great satisfaction to hear that they were happy with the process and the guidance I was able to give them.
