I work with singles, families, active duty military, veterans, investors, and those searching for the perfect vacation home.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
This is my favorite part of the home buying process. I love to get to know my clients and identify what is most important in their lives. It may be the achieving the goal of home ownership, investing, finding a comfortable and safe home for their children, or upgrading to their dream home. I value the relationships I build and deeply care about the financial and emotional well being of my clients.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
"Find a home with a real estate agent 1st, then find your mortgage lender"- not really... but rather, Get Pre-Approved with a Loan Officer 1st, then start your home search!
"PMI is bad"- it's really not! It's a means to an end if you don't want to put down 20%, and often times doesn't increase your monthly payment too much!
"I need a perfect credit score"- there are so many awesome mortgage programs that don't require a 700+ credit score. Don't be ashamed of your credit score, because you'll realize there are far more opportunities than you think!
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Find a Loan Officer that understands your needs. Loan terms and details are so important, but be careful not to judge the latest rates in the news headlines! Finding a mortgage is a very personal experience. Your Loan Officer has to truly identify your needs, history, and future plans so that they can match you with the best monthly payment and down payment fit!
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I love seeing the my clients realize the possibility of home ownership and financial freedom! Whether its the first time they have ever purchased a home or their first rental property! My purpose is to help people and motivate them to do their best and be their best. It is so satisfying seeing others accomplish their goals and realize their self-worth.

CrossFit, Spinning, Golf, Hiking, Reading, Wine Tasting, Cooking, Interior Design.
