What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
In order to find the best home loan for a customer, I must first get to know them! We need to discuss their current needs and future expectations for their new home, the comfort level or affordability of the estimated mortgage payment, and how much they have to work with for down payment and closing costs. This information will help me determine which mortgage programs are available to best meet their needs.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
First-time home buyers are the best customers. I try to go to all of my closings, and I enjoy closings with the first-time home buyers the most. Their excitement and appreciation makes this job satisfying!
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I am a life-long skier. I grew up in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, and started skiing at the age of 4. I competed in NASTAR slalom races until the age of 43, and I won the NASTAR championship in 1973 and the ASRA championship in 1983.
