Having been in the mortgage industry since 1988, Jim has seen it all including originating, auditing, managing, and selling. Tours with big banks in the industry totaling ten years led him to head out on his own for the next 20 years running a mortgage banking firm.
His career took a turn in 2008 after years of production and management turned into a consulting business including auditing, criminal investigating into mortgage fraud and creating mortgage fraud prevention techniques and best practices.
In an appearance on episode 61 of CNBC’s ‘American Greed’ titled “Pimp, Preacher, Profiteer,” Jim was identified as an expert in the episode as he explains his role in the mortgage fraud investigation and conviction of the largest crime boss in Milwaukee history.
His experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice as an expert witness and teaching consultant gives him a unique perspective on the best way to assist customers when picking a loan product and assuring each borrower is placed in the best loan.
