What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Asking “What is most important to you?” Listening to what the customer needs is the single most important step in determining which loan is the right fit along with setting realistic expectations for the entire process right from the beginning is key.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
The #1 misconception would be how much money you need for a down payment, you may be surprised! Next would be that the process buying a home and getting a mortgage is stressful. What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I would say the most satisfying part of my job is helping everyone achieve their goals. Going through the home loan process and being able to guide the customer through the journey of becoming a homeowner. What is truly special is the connection made throughout the process and most rewarding when we maintain the relationship even after my job is complete.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Spending time with my wife Meghan and young daughter Addelyn, hockey, fishing, golf, relaxing on the beach, and anything outdoors!
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I have known my wife since first grade! We went through school together and both attended the University of South Florida, where I obtained my BS in Business Management. Before my career in Lending, I was a real estate agent, which gives me a unique perspective looking at the purchasing process from the lender’s standpoint and knowing exactly what agents expect from me and how they need me to respect their clients.
