Our typical client varies greatly from first time home buyers to clients that may have a little bit of a tricky situation. Our clients typically are looking for answers and clear communication no matter what what type of loan or property type.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
The key focus is to listen to the client. By listening closely we can put together a picture of what they are trying to do and come up with solutions that fit their needs.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
I see that a lot of home buyers believe that they must start the process by finding the right home first. Secondly they think that all lenders are the same and thirdly that being able to purchase a home is all about a credit score.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
I think taking time whether it be during normal business hours, evenings or weekends to ask questions prior to shopping. By becoming educated about the loan process and programs available will create a savvier home buyer.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
As a Manager and VP of lending my greatest satisfaction is seeing people happy with my efforts. If you are new to lending and are looking for leadership I take pride in my wealth of knowledge and ability to train.

I like to have a good time with my family and colleagues, whether we are out at the lake or just having a potluck day at the office.
