My typical customer is an experienced real estate investor or a first time home buyer. They both have the same typical questions. What are your rates, products and how fast can you close, First time home buyers ask more about the process as well.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
The process and steps I use help all types of clients from a first time home buyer to an experienced real estate investor. It all starts with a simple conversation about what they are looking to accomplish with financing, understanding their needs and what type of property are they purchasing or refinancing. Once I have an understanding of their goals, the next step is to review their financials and then we can discuss what kind of mortgage will best fit their needs.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
The top 3 misconceptions people have about the mortgage process in my opinion. 1) People seem to think that you have to have perfect credit and 20% down to purchase or refinance a property. 100% NOT the case, you can purchase with as little as 3% down. 2) Another HUGE misconception is that people think the process of getting a mortgage is hard. 100% NOT the case, if you are prepared and do not wait until the last minute then the process can be very streamlined and easy. 3) People think because they are self-employed that it is difficult to qualify for a mortgage. 100% not the case, it can be just as easy as being employed by someone else. The mortgage process with the right team and experienced loan officer can make your life and the loan process feel very easy.

If borrowers want to learn more about the mortgage process the best resource is their loan officer, if you are working with me, for example, we have plenty of information that a borrower can read on our website to make them understand and get familiar with the mortgage process.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I just love to help people and I really care. I want to make sure my clients are comfortable and understand the whole process. When I receive a referral from a past client, I know that I have earned their trust and confidence.

I love to get up at 4:30AM in the morning to workout, run, surf, etc. I really do love my time in the morning to set the tone for the rest of my day, both mentally and physically,
