My typical customer is someone looking to buy a new home. A typical question they have is 'What type of loan program am I qualified for and how much am I qualified for?"

The steps I take to help my customers is:
- find out what is most important to them, the needs they have, and the goals they have for home-ownership
-complete a full loan application
-run my analysis
-provide all the options available
-together we match them with the very best program available
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1. Getting preapproved can wait until I find a house.
2. It's really hard to get a loan and you have to have 20% down to even look.
3. All Mortgage Companies are the same.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
I would recommend speaking with a loan officer to discover the best option for you. It's the most important step and needs to happen 1st.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
The most satisfaction I receive as a loan officer is watching people achieve their goal of homeownership. Also, helping the other business partners I work with grow there business.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Golf, drinking a good glass of wine, and giving my 2 boys new experiences.
