Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is a savvy homeowner who does their homework on all levels. They typically have questions about loan options and which ones are best suited for them.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Comparing loan options based upon what their needs are. It might be about lowest payment, shortest time to pay the loan off or amount of time that they will be in the home.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1. That it is painful.
2. That it is cumbersome regarding documentation.
3. That there is little transparency in the process. This is why I have open lines of communication throughout the process with complete transparency.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Ask as many questions of me as they can. I want them to feel as comfortable with the process as they can be. No question is a bad one.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Helping people buy a home or helping them save money on their current home gives me great satisfaction because it provides real value in their lives.
Savings, if any, vary based on consumer credit profile, interest rate availability and other factors.*
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Spending time with my family. Traveling. Going to sporting events. I love to golf.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I love to tell jokes and make people laugh. Because of this, now my kids are the same why and love to make people laugh.
