What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I normally have the buyer apply online with our easy to use app on the phone/tablet in order to make the process smooth and simple. With that information our in-person buyer consultation can revolve more around helping develop long and short term goals that are in line with the financial capabilities of the client's resources to better suit their familie's needs!
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Picking up the phone and asking any question of me or my team, rather than trying to Dr. Google a solution, is the best resource. With so many changes that took place over the years with the mortgage industry and changes still happening, getting key information from a current source is critical to it being the right information now.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Seeing my buyer receive their keys at the closing table gives me such a thrill and never gets old.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Playing drums, flying airplanes, playing piano, and doing impressions.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I was once a drum major for a senior drum and bugle corps, and proposed to my wife on the podium in front of 14k people. Luckily she said YES. We performed well that day.
