What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Michele knows the "interview" stage in the mortgage process is the first and foremost step in determining what loan fits best. She makes sure her clients understand that while they may qualify for a certain purchase price - the monthly payment, including taxes, insurance and HOA, must fit with their "comfort" level - so first of every month when the mortgage is due - they are not stressed about making the payment. Enjoy your home and your life living there - don't dread it every month.
Review requested information to ensure that the initial qualifying information is accurate. And then the important part of the complete process, is walking clients through each step to make sure they understand, keep them from being overwhelmed and avoid surprises – all this makes happy clients at the closing table.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
If your credit is not qualifying, then you can never buy a home.
If you have changed jobs you are disqualified from buying a home.
And, that process to buy your first home or maybe have purchased in the past, that the process is too hard and takes too much time.
But I make all those misconceptions go away by taking the time to reach, teach and make things happen.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Watching the last stroke of the pen - then come, the hugs and high fives as the "new homeowner's" walk out the door!!
