Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customers are first time home buyers. I would have to say the most common question I hear is, "Can I get approved?" I answer that question by my work ethic. I continuously make myself aware of new and changing guidelines to find a way for them to get into a home with their best interest in mind.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
First, I make sure I have a complete application and ask all of the needed questions. Then I have a detailed conversation with my clients about what is most important to them, and what they hope to accomplish purchasing this home. Finally, I give them a couple of visuals to see the breakdown of loan products, for us to make the best decision for them going forward.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
What provides me with the most satisfaction in my job is seeing everyone happy at closing. Getting to the closing table would be the bare minimum that I could do. If I can provide a great experience to my clients and real estate partners, that makes me feel good during my job.
