Having a conversation with the borrower is the best way to see what loan options would be best for them. What do they have for a down payment? How long are they planning on being at this place?
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Get pre-approved before you start to look. You do not want to fall in love with a place that might be out of your price range. Also, we will be able to talk about the best options and loan programs for you.
What can borrowers do to ensure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Have your financials in order. If we ask for an item it is because we need it. Supplying the requested items at the time of the application will make for a smoother process and less conditions to clear after underwriting.

When a past client refers someone to me, that brings the most satisfaction.
