What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Communication is key. A lot of the customers I work with are first time home buyers. So having those detailed conversations with them to ensure that I am communicating accurately and effectively, in a way that makes sense if someone is not in the banking/ mortgage world.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
The look of satisfaction on the customers face when we are at the closing table signing on their new home. Hearing from them how great and fun the experience was, and I believe that leads back to communication, communication, and communication.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I like to go to movies, hang out with friends, big golfer. I am also a big Vikings fan and used to have season tickets when I to college there and first moved to Sioux Falls.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I had a very unique job throughout high school, I was a radio DJ in Mitchell and became the weekend afternoon host going into my Junior year. There were a few times I was called into the station to cover severe weather until midnight or so, and on a school night. I think my parents were ok with that because my grades never slipped.
