What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
My first step is always listening. Getting to what my borrower really wants is key. Then I make sure that we are all on the same page on the process and how we can front load the work to make it as smooth as possible.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Ask any questions you have and be up front. As long as we are both on the same page we can make it work. Getting documentation back is important to keep the process moving and to close on time.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Me! I love educating people on the mortgage process and what needs to get done. Other than that the Knowledge Center at GuaranteedRate.com has some great information to get anyone started.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Getting to know my borrowers and helping them reach their goals of home ownership.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I signed up for an Ironman Triathlon without knowing how to swim and completed it within the year. I'm always looking for the next challenge.
