What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I think the main step is to input their info into every approval system that I can. Then I can find the best rates, payments and costs that they qualify for.

You need 20% down payment!
I don't have perfect credit.
I could never afford a mortgage payment. I can barely afford my rent.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
There are may resources on the internet to enable a customer to learn about and even shop different mortgages and companies.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Definitely closing a loan on a purchase or a refinance when the customer has been turned down before or they have exhausted all of their other options.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Hanging with the wife and kids.
