Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I work with a wide range of customers. From First Time Home Buyers, to Jumbo Oceanfront Investors. I take pride in staying up to date on all mortgage programs and being able to work with most every mortgage scenario.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
First and foremost, I listen. I want to make sure I am not only understanding a customers needs, but doing my absolute best to match them with the best mortgage programs for their needs as well.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
A major misconception about the home loan process is that is has to be hard. I do everything in my power to make the process as easy and smooth as possible. We also offer a wide variety of technology to facilitate the process.

What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I love problem solving!!! No loan process is the same. Each loan application is a puzzle to be figured out. Tackling these puzzles quickly, and in a way that makes the customer feel comfortable and confident is my utmost goal.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I love the water. Whether it's spearfishing, diving on wrecks or jumping off the boat with my kids. That's why I live in and love the Outer Banks.
