Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
There is no typical customer and all my customers ask awesome questions! It seems that all my files are unique. In the beginning, customers have questions about rates and payments and how much will a certain down payment bring their payment down? Then, we move to questions about appraisals. Customers are much more educated in this day and time and I love that they get involved in the process.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
The most important question to my client is what are their long-term plans for the home they are purchasing or refinancing. This helps guide me on what kind of program might fit them best and what their goals are for the future.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I love putting families in a home and knowing that I have given them professional counseling and advice throughout the process. This is a very personal transaction for them and I want them to know it is important to me too!
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Susan is active in organizations such as Church of the Good Shepherd, Corpus Christi Association of Realtors, Las Donas de la Corte, and London Athletic Booster Club. Susan is a past graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi and a past member of the Junior League of Corpus Christi.
