First I talk with the Customer about goals, personal, financial, family.
Based on goals we begin to talk about other factors in achieving their goals both strong and where they may need some help. Then from that point, we begin to build a plan.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
That the home loan process is long.
That it requires a ton of documentation for everyone.
They can't qualify.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Helping people achieve their dreams. Home-ownership is the American Dream and there are so many people that do not believe that they can achieve this dream. Many times I am able to give them Hope, Path and Opportunity to those who need it and or want it. There is nothing better than giving someone the ability to now begin a legacy for generations to come or a backyard to garden in or a safe place for their children to grow or even a quiet place to retire. That is what I would say is most satisfying about being a Loan Officer.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy cooking and frequenting new restaurants, spending time with my family and friends. Entertaining and volunteering at church.
