Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer varies. I will have first time buyers and repeat buyers. They have questions regarding credit and how much they can afford and how much a certain monthly payment will translate to purchase price for their budget.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I will review and analyze income and current credit profile. I will then determine how long they plan to live in home and overall financial goals.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1. The process is generic and no major difference between loan officers.
2. The ability to purchase is not based on the customer, i.e. they only have a passive role.
3. Mortgage is separate from the rest of their finances.
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
Guaranteed Rate has great resources at their website. There are also home buyer courses available on the internet.
Are you active in any local associations or community groups, and at what level? What goals and/or success have you helped these groups achieve?
Active in charitable foundations with many groups. Active with alumni groups.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I enjoy helping borrowers get qualified to purchase and educate them as to how the mortgage fits into their overall finances.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy college football and basketball. I like landscaping e and gardening and being outdoors.

I love a challenge. I will do my best to get someone qualified so they have opportunity to own a home which is a huge thing in their lives. I love to develop a new relationship and understand all the different people that are among us.
