Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customers are Veterans purchasing a home for the first time. Typical questions are about what VA home loan benefits are, how to keep their housing payments the same as their BAH, and what they need to do to qualify for a loan.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I like to really understand what the customer is looking for and what their priorities are. We look at what payments they would be comfortable with, their long term plans, ways to protect their pre-approval, and down payment options.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1) The process is stressful and hard to understand 2) They need to have 20% to put down 3) They won't be able to qualify
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I love being able to assist people in being excited and empowered in their financial choices.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy traveling the world, trying new restaurants, boxing, and cooking.
