Richard has a BA from Boston University and an MA from Columbia University (in New York). In 2007 he published his popular book, “It’s Not About Rate: The Right Way to Get a Mortgage,” which is still available on Amazon.
Though Richard works with buyers throughout the country and with various degrees of home buying experience, he is especially known for his detail and communication during the loan process. Clients praise Richard for his patience in listening to their questions and concerns as well as for his commitment to explaining the lending options that are available to them. Also, he is known as a true realtor and attorney partner in the way he keeps them informed during each purchase transaction.
“Overall, mortgage companies have basically the same products, and so what I have to offer to clients and my real estate partners to differentiate myself is a passion for my career, commitment to offer the best service in the industry, and an expert knowledge of the various mortgage products.”
Richard starting playing golf seven years ago and his passion (some would say obsession) for the game, playing and watching, has only grown. He also enjoys a 3-5 mile run, Independent film, theater in Chicago, reading a great book (primarily short fiction) and enjoys a good laugh whenever he can get it.
