My wife Elizabeth and I live with our 2 beautiful daughters (Edie and Emily) on the beach in Westport, MA. Our home is at the southern-most point of the Massachusetts/ Rhode Island border. We truly are at the end of the road! Upon moving East in Summer 2011, I decided to focus my professional energy on becoming the most educated and informed residential mortgage originator (loan officer) in the business. When one is looking to buy or finance a home, I have an answer to your scenario.
I work for the Chicago-based Guaranteed Rate, now the 8th largest mortgage lender in the United States. Guaranteed Rate can lend in all 50 states, but I focus my attention on Chicago and the Northeast Corridor (NY, DC metro area & MA). My past endeavors in real estate investment had me owning and managing as many as 60 apartment units at one time in several neighborhoods across downtown Chicago.
Beyond work, I am quite active and civic minded. Most recently, I have joined the Board of my children's school, Moses Brown in Providence, RI. Another current labor of love is in heading up a $2.5M fundraising effort to build youth sports fields in my adopted hometown of Westport, MA. Before moving east, I was an Alumni Trustee at the Latin School of Chicago. On a fun note, I was involved as a volunteer in the effort to bring the Olympics to the city of Chicago in 2016. I have an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago concentrating in Real Estate Finance, my undergraduate degree is from the University of Colorado - Boulder. I spent my 3rd year of college at the London School of Economics in central London.
