How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I have been in the mortgage business for about 3 years. I got into because I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of home-ownership and making sure that they are in the best spot possible if they are already in an existing mortgage; so, they can spend more time focusing on the things that are important to them like their career, friends and family!
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I assist customers from all over the country and from all different walks of life. There is no such thing as a stupid question! I enjoy educating and empowering my clients with knowledge so they have the tools they need to succeed!
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I like to identify not just my client’s goals, but why they are looking to accomplish those goals so I can better help them to accomplish their dreams!
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I have been in the mortgage business for roughly 3 years. I may not have mastered this industry; however, I am no stranger to customer service and take pride in making sure that all my clients questions and concerns are answered in a timely and business professional manner.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
I would suggest that you start the process early at least 6 months to a year out, so when the time comes you are ready! It is important to have money set aside to cover down payment and closing costs! Make sure you are teamed up with a great Loan Officer from the start to help assist you throughout the process! To ensure a smooth and painless process from the day you lock in financing till the day you close!
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I enjoy helping people obtain their dreams of home-ownership and educating and empowering them throughout the process!
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I have done stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory in Chicago and have done several episodes as an extra on Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. I find that laughter is the best medicine in life! You must realize at the end of day, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, it’s all small stuff!”.
