Rate Loan Originators Win Big at 2019 Power Originator Awards
Boston, Mass., — April 11, 2019 – Rate, one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the country, announced today that two Rate loan originators have been named “Power Originator of the Year” and “Young Gun” at the Mortgage Professional America (MPA) inaugural Power Originator Summit.
Shant Banosian, Vice President of Mortgage Lending in Boston, Mass., was named “Power Originator of the Year” honoring his expertise, outstanding customer service and success in the mortgage industry. In 2018, he funded more than $536 million in total loan volume and was ranked No. 1 on both the 2018 Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators list and Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top Loan Originators list. Throughout his career, which has spanned more than a decade, Banosian has funded more than $2 billion in total loan volume.
Sean Goudreau, Vice President of Mortgage Lending in Boston, Mass., won the “Young Gun Award,” which honors the brightest star under the age of 35 in the mortgage industry. Goudreau received the award for his commitment to delivering a fast, stress-free mortgage experience for his clients and referral partners. Since joining Rate five years ago, he has funded more than $138 million in total loan volume.

Over 500 attendees flew in from all over the nation to attend the Power Originator Summit and witness the live announcement of winners.
