This Thanksgiving, we're drinking our dessert!
Apples are plentiful this time of year. In the U.S., there are 2,500 varieties grown each year, according to the University of Illinois Extension, however, most of us only know a handful of favorites -- Gala, Granny Smith, Red Delicious and Fuji -- to name a few. If you're craving apples that doesn't mean you have to bake a pie. This recipe for a salted caramel apple shot offers all the fresh sweetness without peeling, chopping and baking! Flavored liqueurs provide great apple taste and enough creaminess to make this luscious shot go down smoothly. Try it after your Thanksgiving dinner instead of pie.
