About Aaron Ochsenbein
Aaron Ochsenbein is a Mortgage Loan Originator with Rate, serving homebuyers, homeowners, and referral partners with a relationship-driven and educational approach to lending. Before entering the mortgage industry, Aaron spent years competing at a high level in baseball, including professional baseball within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization through the AAA level. That background helped shape the work ethic, discipline, communication, and team-first mindset he now brings to every client interaction. Aaron specializes in helping first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, investors, and homeowners looking to refinance or better position themselves financially. He believes that mortgage lending is about far more than simply quoting an interest rate — it is about helping clients build a long-term financial plan that supports their goals for homeownership and wealth creation. His process centers around education, preparation, transparency, and accessibility so clients feel informed and confident every step of the way. Known for being responsive, detail-oriented, and easy to work with, Aaron works closely with real estate agents, financial advisors, CPAs, insurance professionals, and attorneys to help create smooth transactions and strong outcomes for shared clients. He takes pride in simplifying what can often feel like an overwhelming process and making himself available whenever questions arise. Outside of mortgage lending, Aaron remains involved with baseball, now coaching high school. He also enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Katie, and their two hound dogs, Huck and Bessie. Whether someone is purchasing their first home, refinancing, or planning for the future, Aaron is committed to providing trusted guidance and dependable service from start to finish.
