Rate’s new Chief Production Officer Jason Stenger doesn’t just join teams; he leads them to victory, bringing boundless energy to elevate performance and rally people around a shared mission. A driven competitor, Jason is wired to win, but he’s equally wired to win with people. “I want to win with the best,” he says. “This is the ultimate all-star team.” That mindset is what brought him to Rate and it’s what drives him every day. “This is a group of winners,” he says. “A team of people who know the business, know the customer and think big. Every interaction I’ve had here fires me up. I feel like I’m running on jet fuel.”

Before joining Rate, Jason spent over a decade at Movement Mortgage, most recently as the Chief Operations Officer, where he helped scale the retail platform and operational infrastructure, overseeing more than $200 billion in production and driving growth across the country. His unique blend of sales-driven vision and operational discipline gives him the ability to build, refine and scale platforms that help Loan Officers succeed.

Now at Rate, Jason is fired up by what he calls the strongest Loan Officer tools and talent in the business. He will oversee Rate’s retail platform, powered by the company’s industry-leading suite of technology. To Jason, these aren’t just tech features, they’re game-changers that free up Loan Officers to spend more time doubling their business and achieving extraordinary results.

With nearly two decades in mortgage leadership, Jason has built a reputation as a powerhouse performer who leads with integrity and an unwavering belief in people. To him, leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about empowering others to bring their A-game. “I love supporting people at the highest level — it’s a passion of mine,” he says. “You win by recruiting great people, but you keep winning by taking care of them every single day.”

“I played sports when I was younger. I want to win at everything. So joining a winning team that wants to take over and be number one, that’s the team I want to be on. I’m ready to help elevate Rate and our producers to new levels of success.” Jason’s approach is simple: show up, work hard, treat people right and do it consistently — and he lives that philosophy to the core. “Treating people right is absolutely paramount in everything I do,” he says. “Integrity, effort and care — that’s non-negotiable.” It’s also how he leads teams.

Outside of work, Jason loves playing golf, working out and is a diehard Philadelphia sports fan (his dog’s name is Foles.) He’s also a devoted dad to his two children, Colin and Mackenzie. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married for over 20 years and their life is built on loyalty, resilience and showing up for the people you love, which are the same values Jason brings to his professional life.

At his core, Jason is a relationship-first leader with a competitor’s mindset. His mission: to elevate, energize and help Rate continue to build something extraordinary — a place where great Loan Officers don’t just grow, they thrive. Because for Jason, there’s only one direction worth moving — forward. And only one kind of team worth joining — a winning one that cares about its people. “I want to make sure they’re successful, make sure they win every day and make sure Rate is a place where they always want to stay and finish out their careers.”
