With over two decades of experience in the real estate, mortgage, and insurance industries, Kimberly R. Lang is a dedicated mortgage loan originator at Rate. For the past seven years, she has helped clients navigate the home financing process with expertise and personalized service. Before transitioning into mortgage lending, Kimberly was a successful Realtor with Keller Williams Realty from 2005 to 2018, guiding buyers and sellers through real estate transactions. Prior to that, she co-owned an insurance agency in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband, David Lang, from 1999 to 2005. Kimberly's diverse background in insurance, real estate sales, and mortgage lending gives her a comprehensive understanding of homeownership and the many factors involved in becoming a homeowner. Her expertise allows her to educate clients not only on financing options but also on the broader responsibilities of owning a home, from securing the right insurance coverage to making informed real estate decisions. Kimberly is helped by Georgiy The Mortgage Cat, whose superb acumen in the mortgage business makes him a purr-fect addition to the team, ensuring every client experience is simply the cat's meow while adding personality to the office. Beyond her career, Kimberly is an avid reader of World War II history and has extensive knowledge of Winston Churchill. She plans to take a dedicated Churchill tour in the UK to further explore his legacy and impact. Kimberly is also the Vice President of her local BNI chapter, where she helps foster business relationships and professional growth within her community. She has been married for 31 years, is a proud mother of two grown children, and adores spending time with her three grandchildren. Though she has called Fort Myers home since 2005, Kimberly spent many years in Florida growing up. She later ventured to Iowa, where she found herself a Yankee husband before eventually making her way back to the Sunshine State. Based in Fort Myers, FL, Kimberly is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals by providing knowledgeable guidance and tailored financial solutions.
