**Meet Akia Shaw – Real Estate & Mortgage Professional** Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Akia Shaw is a dedicated real estate and mortgage expert with a passion for helping others. Her career in banking and finance began in 2007, and she quickly progressed, becoming the youngest Black female Vice President and Branch Manager at her institution. For over 12 years, she led with a strong focus on financial literacy, even earning recognition for her volunteer work from the Fulton County Board of Education. Akia specializes in helping clients navigate Down Payment Assistance programs and alternative loan options, including Bank Statement, P&L, and Alt-Doc programs. Her experience allows her to support clients through every step of the homeownership journey—from pre-approval to the closing table. Whether working with first-time buyers, self-employed individuals, or those overcoming credit challenges, Akia is known for her creative solutions, honesty, and compassionate guidance.
