About Corey Faughnan
Proudly serving the Jacksonville, North Carolina market. Corey Faughnan, a Jacksonville native, has deep local roots and a strong commitment to helping individuals, families, and the military community achieve homeownership. Corey earned his degree in Finance from Catawba College in 2014, where he was also a four-year collegiate athlete. Following graduation, he played professional soccer across North America and Europe. He began his career in finance in 2017 and purchased his first home in 2018—an experience that inspired him to become a Mortgage Loan Originator later that same year. Since entering the mortgage industry, Corey has helped countless buyers confidently navigate the home financing process. His background, combined with his firsthand experience as a homeowner, allows him to guide his clients through the loan process. Corey specializes in working with military buyers, relocating families, and first-time homebuyers, and he is passionate about making the mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Outside of work, Corey is a devoted husband to his wife, Courtney, and a proud father to their two sons, Bennett and Boston. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer, staying active, and spending time on the golf course. With a strong connection to the Jacksonville community and a client-first approach, Corey is proud to serve the area he calls home and help families take the next step toward homeownership.
