Jim earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa Wesleyan College, where he also played college baseball. His experience as a collegiate athlete instilled discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities that now serve his clients and referral partners well in the competitive mortgage industry. He later went on to earn his MBA from University of Phoenix, further strengthening his business acumen and leadership capabilities. As a seasoned mortgage professional and Presidents Club Member, Jim currently serves as **VP of Mortgage Lending** and is licensed in 18 states. His expansive licensure allows him to support clients and partners across a broad geographic footprint while maintaining the personalized service of a hometown lender. Jim differentiates himself by bringing "old school" customer service to a modern mortgage environment. He believes in answering the phone, being accessible, communicating clearly, and doing what he says he will do. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim is a devoted family man. He has been married to Alicia for 15 years and is the proud father of four children and "Pop" to seven grandchildren. When he's not working, Jim enjoys golf, pickleball, cooking, traveling, reading, spending time with his family and grandkids—and keeping life fun and adventurous.
