About Justin Lente
Justin Lente was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from Rio Rancho High School, he joined the United States Navy in 2003. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Tarawa, an Amphibious Assault ship out of San Diego, California. While stationed on the ship he had the opportunity to travel and see a lot of the world from places like Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and many more. After his tour of duty on the ship, he was then stationed at Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24 in Kaneohe, Hawaii, where he lived for three years. In 2010 after serving honorably in the Navy for 7 years, Justin was ready to move forward to pursue his college degree. Justin moved to North Carolina and received his bachelor's degree from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Business Administration with majors in both Business Finance and Business Management in 2014. Along with pursuing his degree in North Carolina, Justin developed a passion for real estate and real estate and real estate investing. In 2012 Justin obtained his North Carolina real estate license and was awarded Rookie of the Year his first year in real estate. Along with working in real estate as a Realtor, Justin begin working as a Mortgage Loan Officer in 2015 after graduating with his undergraduate degree. In 2017, Justin decided to follow his North Star which led him back to his hometown of New Mexico in 2017. He continued to stay in the real estate field and obtained his New Mexico real estate license. Additionally, Justin also worked as a Government Contractor for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Tier 2 Customer Service Representative. Along with working as a Realtor Justin pursued a master's degree from the University of Dayton and in May 2020 received his MBA with a 3.51 GPA. As of December 2022, Justin has started his own real estate brokerage, North Star Realty Group NM, where he provides residential real estate services for buyers and sellers across New Mexico while specializing in military relocation. Justin is now the VP of Mortgage Lending for Rate and is licensed in New Mexico as a Loan Officer. Justin is excited to better serve his clients in the lending of residential mortgages. On a personal side, Justin lives at home with his wife and 2 dogs in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends at Lake Sumner where he has a second home and owns a convenience store, bait shop, and commercial kitchen. Most recently Justin has started running and competing in marathons and ultra marathons.
